I think I'm winning the how many days in a row can a blogger blog about stripes contest that doesn't actually exist.  But it should.  I would totally win!  Honestly, when I saw the trend spin linkup content for this week I perked up because I love these link ups where you get introduced to new bloggers and make new internet buddies.  But a legit excuse to style stripes other than every day wear?  Hells yes, my friends.    For whatever reason this gem of a blazer has sat in my closet unworn all winter.  It's made of sweatshirt material people, I don't know what I was thinking!  

This scarf - let me just explain my love for thee.  I purchased this at Charlotte Russe after I missed out on this years Zara Blanket Scarf.  I was so mad I couldn't get my hands on it and although this scarf isn't a square like the Zara one it is surely huge enough to be of blanket warmth and comfort.   The colors contrast perfectly with the navy and white stripes.

Woah! What a weekend!  Happy Monday peeps - back to reality today.  This weekend flew by but I definitely had some fun activities to do.  

Friday night was dance practice and pizza night with great company.  My bestie and dance teaching partner took my photos just before class began.  There are some really goofy ones - I guess that's what happens! 

Saturday was a dance competition; I'm so proud of all our kiddos they did a fantastic job as we continue to prepare for the Oireachtas (regionals) in November.  

 Sunday to add to the dancing weekend, held a quick practice for our champ girls.  Afterwards I headed out to my parents to start my laundry.  Hung out with my sisters and aunt, got a few things at the mall (unexpected sale at LOFT and I couldn't resist this amaze-balls blazer for fall!) and caught up on some TV.

Boots of My Dreams

Today I had a half day from work.  Monday's are probably the best days other than Friday's to have half a day of work.  I don't think I'm speaking for myself in saying that you feel less like being there.   So naturally after my appointment I headed to the nearest Marshalls to "look".  **I have a problem, I know this**  I stumbled upon these Steve Madden booties, which are identical to what I've been "oohing, and ahhing" over online.   I have so many plans for you my new little pets **that's me talking to the boots...** 

This is also my first attempt at using the timer on my camera for outfit shots.  I need to play around with the auto focus, but I think I found a good spot to take some snaps until it's halfway decent outdoors.
