Now that I've experienced a 45 degree March day I'm not only feeling a little brighter but I'm seriously craving spring style.  As if we weren't already, right?   I'm loving all the bold and soft colors around; really, anything goes here and to me that's what is most exciting.

I've been going through style phases quite quickly.  I'm really craving simplicity this week, likely because it's just easy and you don't have to think about it.   I'm loving the simple yet totally fierce looks above.  Dying for a bold color pleated skirt/dress as pictured in #2!! 

I read an article on StyleCaster this week all about habits of super stylish people and it was incredibly thought provoking.  As style bloggers we  hunt down and try the newest trends, seek inspiration and try to curate the epitome of cool casual style; often times you can easily get wrapped up in keeping up with the Jones' and buying designer items.  The article focuses on how the most stylish of us all obtain those same fads, styles and trends for a less than designer brand and cost.   Even the ever creative Leandra has written about how it's not about the labels.   Who's to say that we are only someone if we're wearing someone specific?   Blogging is, after all, supposed to be real people who are relatable.  

I have explained before my Type - A anal way of setting out clothes for the week; but to be honest, some of my best looks come from throwing something on in the heat of the moment on the weekends.

We made it through another wintry week and are into a weekend.  Luckily the temps are going to get into the high 40's by the end of this coming week and I'm just counting down.   These are three of my favorited looks I pinned this week... 

1. You may have seen on Instagram I picked up a cute black moto at target early this week.  I can't wait to double up on denim and toss on that moto with my leopard pumps as Helena did. 

2. Kelsey nailed a wintry girly look!  I adore how she paired a bejeweled navy sweater with a girly pleated skirt.  Giving me inspiration for more ways to wear my tulle number... 

3. Samantha of Could I have that? totally nailed the quintessential winter look with an oversized sweater, leather leggings and ankle boots.   Loving it and I'm jealous that she walked all over NY in those booties; adorable, but ouch!

Oh Blair how I long for your wardrobe!  Chucks are definitely on my spring list this year thanks to a lot of other totally awesome blogger ladies rocking them to no end.

Simple uniform with a pop of red lip.  Yes, please.  Perfect for a Sunday brunch, ahem, hungover?  I cannot wait for al fresco seating to come back in season...  please Mother Nature?  

FUR! I'm still obsessed and Krystin does it justice with a turtleneck, wide legs and fab hat.  

I gave my furs a break the past couple weeks but I assure you it's definitely not warming up any time soon and they will be back!

This week's edition of Weekend Inspiration I bring you three looks that I straight up want to copy from Pinterest/Blogs I love.  

The very best part of Pinterest is the introduction to new and exciting faces that you've never cyber met before.  You find them interesting in one snapshot and then become life long followers of their life through fashion, food, or whatever they blog about.

I just stumbled on Kat's blog this week when I pinned the first image in the above set.  Her style is so classy and gorgeous any girl would want to be her in her photos. 

Jess from Here & Now I've been following for a while now and I adore her sense of style and humor.   She always has unique and chic looks that I want to try and replicate! 

Cathy the Poor Little It Girl is another whom I found via pinterest but some time ago.  Her style is witty and classic.  I love how she paired the tweed, tee and tulle together in a look I'm sure to imitate!

I'm officially in a style rut.  Layering on clothes upon clothes to keep warm and I'm thinking I may just go on freezing to death to be fashionable.  Oh the things we do to look good :)

I'm craving simple button downs distressed jeans and heels.  No more socks, scarfs!  Being that I'm trying not to shop (too much) I'm definitely looking to Pinterest to keep me inspired to continue to remix my current pieces!

I'm just loving how anything goes now-a-days.  Chunky knits with slim skirts, bold pointy toes, loose fitting separates.  I'm really excited about some of the outfits I have planned - hopefully they come out as good as they seem in my head.  Does that happen to you too?

Maybe it's the 50 degree day I'm about to step into that is making me all floral and bright colored again.    Or, maybe it's that everyone is now sick of their basics and are ready to change it up.  

1. I just love how effortlessly cool this girl looks with her scarf worn as a wrap.  The jeans, the loafers, all of it makes it.  

2.  Gosh darn it, I need a hat and a silky floral shirt.   What a great pallet for a floral pattern - so versatile. 

3.  My girl crush continues for Kendi. Loving her look here and she's making me want to chop my hair off!

As I'm not shopping, or trying not to anyways (I may "need" that hat in my life) I'm trying to pin outfits or inspiration for one of two things... 

1. outfits comprised of items I have exactly or similar to already

2. inspiration for spring wardrobe update (that floral shirt would be one)

On Saturday's I want to share with you my favorite pins from the week.  Looks I'm inspired by, or would like to recreate out of my own pieces.   

These three looks are definitely re-creatable for me.  Let's break them down; 

1. Chunky sweater and midi skirt.  Hmm, I have a midi dress that I could easily put a sweater over, boom.

2.  Leather moto, graphic tee, torn jeans.   I'm a little sad I didn't scoop that J.Crew shirt up while it was on sale, in my size and pre-shopping freeze.  This look is super easy to recreate! 

3. I've been pinning different ways to wear my tutu skirt I purchased for my 30th bash.  A full a-line goes great dressed down with a striped tee and denim jacket.
